3) Marketplace role and contract structure
A. Marketplace services
Saunatech operates a marketplace that helps Users discover and book sauna sessions offered by Operators. Operators are independent providers and are responsible for the sauna services they offer.B. Your contract when you book
When you make a Booking, you enter into a contract for the sauna service directly with the Operator. Saunatech is not the provider of the underlying sauna service and is not a party to the sauna-service contract between you and the Operator. Saunatech provides the Services, including booking tools, payment facilitation where available, communication tools, and support for Services-related issues.C. Operator policies and House Rules
Operators may set House Rules and booking conditions for their sauna offerings. Those House Rules and conditions form part of your Booking where they are disclosed to you before or at the time you confirm the Booking. You are responsible for reading and understanding them before confirming a Booking. If the booking flow requires it, you must acknowledge applicable House Rules to complete your Booking.4) Eligibility and account registration
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services. Some saunas may have age limits or require identity or age verification. You agree to provide accurate information if verification is required for a particular Booking. If you do not meet a venue's stated requirements, the Operator may refuse entry. Refund eligibility in those circumstances will depend on the applicable Booking terms, House Rules, and mandatory law.To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:- provide accurate information and keep it updated,
- keep your login credentials secure, and
- promptly notify us of unauthorized access or suspected misuse.
5) Privacy and communications
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal data. You agree that we may send transactional and service-related communications, such as:- booking confirmations and changes,
- receipts and payment confirmations,
- security notices,
- support responses, and
- payment reminders, including for Pay-Later Bookings.
- phone verification SMS for account security verification is governed by the separate SMS Verification Terms.
6) Bookings and availability
A. Booking confirmations
A Booking is not confirmed until it is confirmed in the Services and any applicable payment requirements are satisfied.B. Accuracy of listings and availability
Operators are responsible for their listings, including availability, photos, descriptions, prices, House Rules, and safety requirements. We do not guarantee that listings are error-free or that availability will always be accurate. If a listing contains a material error, such as an obvious pricing error, the Operator may cancel the Booking, or Saunatech may facilitate cancellation and any required refund on the Operator's behalf, subject to applicable law and the disclosed Booking terms.C. Changes to a Booking
If you want to change a Booking, such as the time, date, or party size, the Operator may require you to cancel and rebook unless the Services offer a reschedule flow for that Operator or venue. Operators may also cancel or reschedule a Booking using available Services tools.7) Cancellation, no-show, booking changes, and refunds
This section explains typical cancellation, booking-change, and refund rules. The exact rules applicable to your Booking will be shown in the booking flow, booking details, settlement details, or other parts of the Services. Where there is a conflict, the Booking-specific terms shown to you at the time of Booking or later in the Services apply, subject to non-waivable consumer rights.A. Standard customer cancellation rule (default)
Unless a different policy is clearly shown for a particular Booking, and subject to mandatory consumer law:- Free cancellation: you may cancel up to 24 hours before the session start time, using the local time at the sauna, for a full refund of amounts paid for the Booking.
- Late cancellation: if you cancel within 24 hours of the session start time, the Operator may charge a cancellation fee up to the Booking price and you may receive no refund.
- No-show: if you do not attend and do not cancel in time, the Operator may treat the Booking as used and you may receive no refund.
B. Operator cancellations and refusals of service
If an Operator cancels your Booking, you are generally entitled to a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled Booking, including associated add-ons purchased through the Services, unless the cancellation or refusal of service results from your breach of disclosed Booking terms, House Rules, safety requirements, or applicable law.If an Operator reschedules your Booking instead of cancelling it, the updated Booking terms, including the new date and time, will apply unless you and the Operator agree to cancel and, where applicable, receive a refund under the relevant Booking terms or mandatory law.C. Booking changes, refund form, and timing
If a Booking change results in a lower amount than you previously paid or owed, the difference may be handled as a refund, partial refund, credit, or postpay balance adjustment, depending on the payment method, booking status, and the flow offered in the Services.Eligible refunds may be full or partial. They may arise from customer cancellations, Operator cancellations, booking changes, owner-issued refunds where enabled, Saunatech or admin corrections or goodwill refunds, or postpay adjustments that reduce the amount otherwise owed.Where possible, refunds are returned to the original payment method. In some cases, especially for unpaid or postpay balances, the Services may instead reduce the outstanding balance or record another correction in the booking history. Refund timing depends on payment providers, banks, card networks, and the original payment method, and may take several business days after approval or processing. The Services may show refund history, refund or adjustment status, and related receipts or notices. Refunds do not necessarily include third-party fees, late fees, cancellation fees, or charges already incurred unless the Services, the applicable Booking terms, or applicable law provide otherwise.D. Saunatech refund support and processing authority
Operators control their cancellation and refund settings within the Services. Some Operators may also be able to issue refunds or partial refunds through the Services where that capability is enabled. Any such refund action may depend on booking status, available refundable balance, time windows, fraud or abuse checks, payment-provider constraints, or Saunatech review.Saunatech may facilitate, process, approve, reject, adjust, delay, reverse, or refuse a refund or correction where we reasonably determine that:- a refund is required by law,
- a refund is required by the applicable Booking terms presented to the user,
- there is documented evidence that the sauna service was not delivered or that there were serious quality or safety issues, or
- Saunatech is authorized to do so under its agreement with the Operator.
E. Problems at the venue
If you experience an issue at the venue, such as access problems, safety concerns, or the venue being unavailable, contact the Operator first if possible and also contact Saunatech support through the Services as soon as reasonably possible. Prompt reporting helps investigation and resolution.F. Statutory withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights to cancel certain purchases made online. In some jurisdictions, those rights may not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period, such as a sauna session booked for a particular time slot. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies to a specific purchase, we will provide the required information and instructions in the booking or checkout flow. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.G. Saunatech role in operator-initiated cancellation and rescheduling
Saunatech provides booking, communication, and payment or refund tooling through the Services. Operators decide whether to cancel or reschedule their Bookings and are responsible for those decisions and for the delivery of the underlying sauna service. Where an Operator cancels a paid Booking through the Services, Saunatech may facilitate a refund to the original payment method where technically possible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saunatech is not responsible for the Operator's decision to cancel or reschedule, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you.8) Prices, fees, and payments
A. Prices, fees, and taxes
Operators generally set their own prices unless clearly stated otherwise. Saunatech may charge service fees or other Services-related fees, which will be disclosed before you complete a Booking or payment. Taxes may be included or added depending on jurisdiction and Operator settings.B. Payment processing
Payments, refunds, and related payment records may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe where used. Saunatech does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive payment status and transaction-related details, such as confirmations, settlement results, refunds, and disputes or chargebacks, to operate the Services and keep records.C. Pay-Now
For Pay-Now Bookings, you authorize the payment shown in the booking flow. A Booking may not be confirmed until payment succeeds.D. Pay-Later / Postpay
Some Bookings may require payment before confirmation, while others may use Pay-Later or postpay settlement. For Pay-Later Bookings, you agree to pay the amount due according to the due date and terms shown in the booking flow, booking details, settlement details, or other parts of the Services. For postpay Bookings, charges may be reviewed, adjusted, confirmed, or finalized after the sauna session depending on the booking type and the information recorded or provided in the Services, including attendance, participant responsibility, add-ons, discounts, or other booking details shown to you.If you choose Pay-Later or postpay:- you remain responsible for the charges assigned to you in the Services,
- you are responsible for reviewing settlement details, charges, taxes, fees, due dates, and payment instructions shown in the Services,
- for group or shared Bookings, each participant may be responsible for that participant's assigned share where the Services allocate responsibility that way,
- an organizer may remain responsible for charges assigned to the organizer or accepted on behalf of the Booking or group, where applicable,
- you authorize us to send reminders and payment instructions, including by email, and
- you agree that access to certain features may be restricted for non-payment as described in Section 8F.
E. Late fees (only if disclosed)
To the extent permitted by law, interest on late payments or other late fees or administrative fees may apply only if they were clearly disclosed to you before you incurred them, for example during booking, checkout, or the Pay-Later flow.F. Non-payment, restrictions, and collections
If you do not pay amounts due on time, and to the extent permitted by law, we may:- send reminders and require payment before you can make new Bookings,
- restrict your access to Pay-Later or other features,
- suspend or terminate your account for repeated or serious non-payment,
- cancel or restrict future access to Bookings or Services features connected to unpaid balances, and/or
- refer unpaid amounts to debt collection or enforce through legal processes, which may include sharing necessary information with collections providers, courts, or legal counsel.
G. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may request information from you and/or the Operator to investigate. We may suspend your account or restrict features during an investigation where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse. If a chargeback is granted, you may still owe the Operator amounts due under the Operator's applicable cancellation or no-show policy, subject to applicable law.9) Receipts, refund receipts, and invoicing
As part of payment processing, the Services may issue receipts, refund receipts, adjustment records, or invoices for your Booking. Where applicable, these records may be issued on behalf of the Operator and may show the Operator as the seller or provider. You agree that Saunatech may send you these records and maintain related records for accounting, support, compliance, and audit purposes.10) Add-ons and third-party offerings
Some Operators may offer add-ons or related items, such as towel rental, refreshments, or extras, in connection with a Booking. Unless otherwise stated, such add-ons are provided by the Operator and are subject to the Operator's stated terms and applicable law.11) Reviews, ratings, and user content
