Our StorySaunatech started in Sandnes, Norway with a simple frustration. There were no booking systems for saunas. Henrik, our co-founder and CEO, has built and operated saunas locally for years. Through that work he kept wishing there was a better option for managing bookings, customers, and monitoring his locations. Our small but strong team came together soon after to build something that gives a sauna tailored booking experience. Our founders were all previous athletes who recognize the impact of a good sauna experience. To launch with real momentum, we partnered with BookSauna, an established sauna franchise that was already looking for a new solution. With sauna operators, a strong partner network, and a proven engineering team, Saunatech was founded to make sauna booking simple, social, and scalable from Sandnes to the world.

Henrik is a sauna builder and operator based in Sandnes, Norway. After years of managing real sauna operations, he saw how poorly existing booking tools fit the needs of owners and guests. He leads Saunatech's vision, partnerships, and go-to-market grounded in firsthand industry experience.

Kristian leads product and engineering at Saunatech. He studied mathematics and computer science at Dartmouth College while playing Division I soccer, and later continued at Oxford University getting his Masters in Advanced Computer Science. He focuses on ensuring that the right technology solutions are being used and assisting Dylan where he can.

Dylan works across software engineering, design, and data. He studied computer science and economics at Dartmouth College and brings experience from working in tech for the restaurant industry. Dylan uses his experience and technical knowledge to build the platform and work towards a seamless user experience.
